Focus Fire Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Focus Fire. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Focus Fire website, services, tournaments, leagues, teams, competitions, community features, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”).

By creating an account, accessing the Platform, joining a tournament or league, joining a team, or otherwise using Focus Fire, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Platform.

1. Eligibility

You must meet the minimum age requirements applicable to the Platform and your jurisdiction to create an account or participate in competitions.

Certain tournaments, leagues, events, or prize competitions may have additional eligibility requirements, including minimum age, geographic location, platform, game version, skill level, ranking, or residency restrictions.

Focus Fire reserves the right to require proof of age, identity, residency, eligibility, or other information necessary to verify participation requirements.

If a user is under the age of legal majority in their jurisdiction, participation may require parental or legal guardian consent.

2. User Accounts

You may be required to create an account to access certain Focus Fire features.

You agree to provide accurate and current information when creating or maintaining your account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activities conducted through your account.

You may not:

• Create an account using false or misleading information.
• Create multiple accounts for the purpose of circumventing restrictions, bans, rankings, or tournament rules.
• Impersonate another person, player, team, administrator, or organization.
• Share your account with another person.
• Sell, transfer, or otherwise distribute your account without authorization from Focus Fire.
• Use another person’s account.

Focus Fire may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable tournament rules.

3. Community Conduct

Focus Fire is intended to provide a competitive and welcoming gaming community.

Users must conduct themselves respectfully toward other users, tournament staff, team members, opponents, broadcasters, and administrators.

Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to:

• Harassment, bullying, threats, or intimidation.
• Hate speech or discriminatory conduct.
• Sexual harassment or inappropriate sexual content.
• Targeted abuse of another user.
• Doxxing or sharing another person’s private information.
• Threats of violence.
• Spam or malicious activity.
• Impersonation.
• Fraud or deceptive behavior.
• Deliberately disrupting tournaments or matches.
• Encouraging others to violate Focus Fire rules.

Focus Fire may take disciplinary action against users for conduct occurring both on and off the Platform when that conduct materially affects Focus Fire, its community, competitions, staff, or users.

4. Competitive Integrity

Focus Fire is committed to maintaining fair and competitive gameplay.

Participants must compete honestly and must follow all published tournament, league, and game-specific rules.

Prohibited competitive conduct may include:

• Cheating or use of unauthorized software.
• Hacks, exploits, scripts, or automation intended to provide an unfair advantage.
• Exploiting unintended game mechanics.
• Match fixing or intentionally manipulating match outcomes.
• Collusion.
• Smurfing or alternate accounts used to circumvent competitive restrictions.
• Account sharing.
• Intentionally disconnecting or interfering with a competition.
• Providing false match results.
• Falsifying screenshots, recordings, or other evidence.
• Manipulating rankings, standings, statistics, or tournament results.

Focus Fire may investigate suspected violations and may use available evidence, including gameplay recordings, screenshots, server logs, tournament data, communications, reports, or information provided by game publishers.

5. Tournaments and Leagues

Each tournament or league may have its own rules, format, schedule, eligibility requirements, match procedures, and disciplinary policies.

By registering for a competition, you agree to follow both these Terms and the specific rules published for that competition.

Focus Fire reserves the right to:

• Modify tournament schedules.
• Change match times when reasonably necessary.
• Replace or modify tournament formats.
• Reschedule matches.
• Disqualify participants.
• Remove teams or players from competitions.
• Adjust brackets or standings when necessary to correct errors or rule violations.
• Cancel or postpone competitions.

Focus Fire will make reasonable efforts to communicate material changes to participants.

6. Match Results and Disputes

Players and teams are responsible for reporting accurate match results in accordance with the applicable tournament rules.

Disputes regarding match results must be submitted through the designated Focus Fire reporting or dispute process within the time period established by the applicable tournament.

Focus Fire tournament administrators may request evidence, including screenshots, video recordings, match history, or other relevant information.

Administrative decisions regarding tournament disputes are generally final unless the applicable tournament rules provide an appeal process.

7. Teams and Team Membership

Focus Fire may provide team creation, team management, roster management, recruitment, or team competition functionality.

Team owners, captains, managers, and players may have different responsibilities and permissions.

Focus Fire reserves the right to intervene in team-related matters when necessary to address rule violations, fraud, harassment, competitive integrity concerns, or other serious issues.

Focus Fire is not responsible for private agreements between players, team owners, sponsors, managers, or organizations unless Focus Fire is expressly a party to that agreement.

8. Prizes and Rewards

Certain Focus Fire competitions may offer prizes, rewards, merchandise, digital items, or other incentives.

Prize eligibility and distribution will be governed by the specific rules published for the applicable competition.

Focus Fire may require a winner to provide information reasonably necessary to verify eligibility and deliver a prize.

A prize may be forfeited if a winner:

• Violates these Terms or applicable tournament rules.
• Is found to be ineligible.
• Provides false information.
• Fails to respond within the required period.
• Cannot legally receive the prize.

Focus Fire reserves the right to substitute a prize of comparable value when reasonably necessary.

Participants are responsible for any taxes, fees, reporting obligations, or other costs associated with receiving a prize unless expressly stated otherwise.

9. Third-Party Games and Platforms

Focus Fire may host competitions involving games and platforms owned or operated by third parties.

Focus Fire is an independent competitive community and is not necessarily affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or associated with the publishers, developers, or platform providers whose games appear on the Platform.

All third-party games, trademarks, logos, and intellectual property remain the property of their respective owners.

Participation in a Focus Fire competition may also be subject to the rules, terms of service, and policies of the applicable game publisher or platform.

10. User Content

Users may submit or display content through Focus Fire, including usernames, profile information, images, videos, comments, team information, tournament content, match results, and other materials (“User Content”).

You retain ownership of User Content that you lawfully own.

By submitting User Content to Focus Fire, you grant Focus Fire a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, and otherwise use that content as reasonably necessary to operate, promote, and provide the Platform.

You represent that you have the rights necessary to submit the content and that your content does not violate applicable law or the rights of others.

Focus Fire may remove User Content that violates these Terms or otherwise creates a reasonable risk to the Platform or its users.

11. Streaming, Broadcasts, and Media

By participating in a Focus Fire tournament, league, or event, you acknowledge that matches and related activities may be streamed, recorded, rebroadcast, clipped, photographed, or otherwise made available through Focus Fire or authorized third parties.

This may include gameplay footage, usernames, team names, voice communications, likenesses, and publicly available profile information associated with the competition.

Participants should not enter a competition if they do not agree to such recording and broadcast activities.

12. Intellectual Property

The Focus Fire name, branding, logos, website design, original graphics, original written content, software, and other materials created by Focus Fire are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit Focus Fire intellectual property without written permission.

Third-party trademarks and intellectual property remain the property of their respective owners.

13. Prohibited Activities

You may not use Focus Fire to:

• Break applicable laws or regulations.
• Defraud users or Focus Fire.
• Distribute malware or malicious code.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts or systems.
• Interfere with Platform operations.
• Scrape or automatically collect Platform data without authorization.
• Circumvent security or access restrictions.
• Manipulate competitions or rankings.
• Engage in prohibited commercial activity.
• Use the Platform to facilitate illegal activity.

14. Moderation and Enforcement

Focus Fire may investigate suspected violations of these Terms.

Depending on the circumstances, Focus Fire may:

• Issue warnings.
• Remove content.
• Remove users from teams.
• Reverse tournament results.
• Adjust rankings or standings.
• Disqualify players or teams.
• Suspend accounts.
• Restrict access to competitions.
• Permanently ban users.

The severity of disciplinary action may depend on the nature and history of the violation.

Focus Fire is not required to disclose every detail of an investigation when doing so could compromise security, privacy, competitive integrity, or the integrity of the enforcement process.

15. Account Suspension and Termination

Focus Fire may suspend or terminate your account when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect users, protect the Platform, or comply with legal obligations.

You may stop using Focus Fire at any time.

Termination of an account does not necessarily remove information or content that Focus Fire is legally required or otherwise permitted to retain.

16. Privacy

Your use of Focus Fire is also subject to the Focus Fire Privacy Policy.

The Privacy Policy describes how Focus Fire collects, uses, stores, and processes personal information.

17. Disclaimers

Focus Fire is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law.

Focus Fire does not guarantee that:

• The Platform will always be available.
• The Platform will be uninterrupted or error-free.
• Tournament schedules will never change.
• Third-party games or services will remain available.
• Tournament results will never require correction.
• The Platform will be compatible with every device, game, or software configuration.

Focus Fire is not responsible for outages, errors, interruptions, or failures caused by circumstances outside its reasonable control, including third-party platforms, internet service providers, game publishers, hosting providers, or other services.

18. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Focus Fire and its owners, officers, administrators, employees, contractors, volunteers, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Platform.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

19. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Focus Fire and its owners, officers, administrators, employees, contractors, volunteers, affiliates, and service providers from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from:

• Your violation of these Terms.
• Your violation of another person’s rights.
• Your User Content.
• Your fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful conduct.
• Your participation in a competition.

20. Changes to These Terms

Focus Fire may modify these Terms from time to time.

Updated Terms will be posted on the Platform with a revised “Last Updated” date.

Your continued use of Focus Fire after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.

21. Governing Law

These Terms will be governed by the laws applicable to the jurisdiction designated by Focus Fire, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Platform will be handled in the courts or dispute-resolution forum specified by Focus Fire, subject to applicable law.

22. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

23. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Focus Fire Privacy Policy and any competition-specific rules, constitute the agreement between you and Focus Fire concerning your use of the Platform.

If there is a conflict between these Terms and specific tournament rules, the tournament-specific rules will control with respect to that competition.
